PGP Basics

PGP is how you tell a real mirror list from a paste. It is also how you keep a stolen password from being enough. Enable it on the market after you land from a research page — not from an ad.

• Import the market’s public key from a source you already trust, not from the first Google/Bing result.
• Verify signed mirror posts when they exist. If verification fails, keep the last known-good bookmark.
• Turn on PGP 2FA before you treat the account as standing.
